I first became involved with the schools Governing body in July 2014 as a Parent Governor. As a Governor all I want from Peterhouse School is the best Education for all of our children and this was a way in which I could see and be a part of what was going on and have my say. Following becoming a parent Governor I was elected as a Trustee Governor when the school became part of the DNEAT Academy Trust and my main responsibilities within the Governing Body now are as Chair of the Curriculum and Standards Committee and EYFS Governor. I find this role to be very demanding but enjoyable. I also come into school on a regular basis to do reading with the children in class which I enjoy.
From a personal point of view I have worked at James Paget NHS Foundation Trust for the past 24 Years and I love making cup cakes I have two children who both attend Peterhouse and I have been a Governor for the past year and a half.
