Activities for Thursday 30th April 2020

English:

1. Reading – RWI

If you only choose one thing to do today, choose this – your RWI lesson!

It’s so important to keep your reading skills up to date and at the moment it is tricky to find a book at the right level.

Click this link to take you to our RWI page where you’ll find all the info you need. https://www.peterhouse.norfolk.sch.uk/read-write-inc-sessions/

Or, if you know what you're doing, go straight to Youtube! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo7fbLgY2oA_cFCIg9GdxtQ?app=desktop

2. Punctuation - Commas in lists:

Have a look at the activities at this site: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z8x6cj6/articles/zxvcrdm They'll help you to think about how to properly use commas in lists.

Challenge!

1. Go into a room in your house and find four different objects.

2. Write them in a list using commas between each word, but 'and' before the last word, like this "In the bathroom I have shampoo, a toothbrush, towels and toilet roll."

3. Repeat for two more rooms!
