Maths

Today we are going be thinking about how we can show numbers up to 100 in different ways.

The lesson we are going to do includes:

  • one video
  • one slideshow
  • two activities (for activity 1 you might be able to make your own matching cards)

 

Topic: Penguins

Carrying on with our theme of Penguins, today we are going to find out about some Penguins that are endangered.

Below is a picture with a range of different types of penguins. Underneath each one it states if it is endangered or not.

Your job is to choose one endangered penguin and find out some facts about them. Maybe you could even find out why they are endangered.

Maths Challenge: you could of said that 36 was the odd one out because it is an even number and the rest are odd. For the shapes you might have said that the circle is the odd one out as it doesn't have any vertices.
