I was encouraged to become a Governor by a previous colleague.

I have been retired for approximately 3 years and although I volunteer in various areas such as parish council, neighbourhood planning and Scouting it would be nice to reacquaint myself with the world of education.

Having served as a staff governor at Cliff Park High School I feel I have sufficient experience however I will need to upgrade my knowledge as I finished my term just as the School became an Academy.

I also chair the District Executive for East Norfolk Scouts which manages and supports the volunteer Scout Leaders in this area.
