Year 6

Please note: None of the activities we are providing require printing, unless you wish to do so. All activities can be worked on from a screen and completed with pen and paper :-)

Welcome Back Year 6!!

Mrs Camilleri, Miss Young, Mrs Tuck, Mrs Logan, Miss Candler and Mrs Phipps all hope you had a fabulous Easter!

We pray you all kept inside and safe and didn't eat tooooo many chocolate eggs! I know some of the Year 6 adults ate a few tooooo many :-)

Home learning will continue as it did before the Easter holiday and in the same format you are all familiar with.

Just a reminder that if you complete all the daily tasks set and still want more work to keep you occupied then head over to the general resources page where we will keep uploading new things for you to do! There is however NO pressure for you to complete everything set for you! Just do what you can!

Remember we will hopefully see you all soon, so make sure you are all keeping yourselves safe and well!! We miss you!

Welcome to our Year 6 home learning page! :-)

Every day we will be uploading a writing, maths, reading, SPAG and topic based task for you to complete as part of your home learning. We would also really encourage you to continue reading for at least 25 minutes a day and practise your times tables, spellings and handwriting (see general resources for these activities). You also have your revision books for Maths, Reading and SPAG which are packed full of information and tasks for you to complete. Please remember to be using these, especially if we set something you are unsure about!

As well as these tasks, we will be making sure we upload some different activities for you to do at home which may be linked to Music, PE, Art etc, to make sure you are fully entertained whilst at home!

Remember what we talked about in class on Friday about becoming an independent learner and making sure you are organising your time wisely as this will really help you prepare for High School :-)

Most importantly though make sure as well as your learning you are taking lots of breaks and enjoying time with your family! This will not last forever and you will hopefully soon be back at school with all your friends and teachers.

Please Note: This is only a suggestion of what to do but please try and do as much as you feel you can :-) If you finish the activities provided for the day, please head over to general resources where you will find many other activities to keep you busy whilst you stay inside and safe!

Hello Year 6. We hope you are all well and keeping safe! Below are the answers for Wednesday's activities. We hope you have not found home learning to difficult and have enjoyed the range of activities we have set for you! It is now the Easter holidays so enjoy a well earned rest! We have uploaded a folder full of fun art and craft and cooking and other Easter activities above, in case you would still like something to do over the holidays. Remember as well, you have the general resources folder which has plenty of writing, maths and other activities to keep you busy, if you wish to use them! We will upload more home learning tasks on Monday 20th April, so keep a look out for this.

Enjoy your break and 'Happy Easter' to you all. Don't eat to many Easter eggs :-)
